Set against the alpine landscape of Jacks Point, Queenstown is a home where every material has been carefully considered to create a home that feels warm, balanced and connected to its surroundings. The kitchen and open-plan living space have been designed to frame the view rather than compete with it. Natural light moves through the home throughout the day, highlighting a carefully layered palette of textures, finishes and architectural details.

At the heart of the home is our Prime Toitū Veneer™ in American White Oak. Used throughout the kitchen cabinetry, the veneer helps shape an intentional, layered design of the space, creating a sense of continuity between the kitchen and living areas while complementing the natural surrounding landscape.

Designed with timelessness in mind, the kitchen pairs clean lines with subtle detailing. The warm timber cabinetry is balanced by a natural Viola surface, while herringbone timber flooring introduces movement and texture. Bronze accents complete the palette, adding a refined contrast that ties the space together without overpowering it.

Custom stained to suit the overall design vision, this project highlights the flexibility of Prime Toitū Veneer™ and how it can be tailored to suit the character of an individual project. The result? Is a space that feels considered, inviting and built to last.

The project also highlights the craftsmanship behind the joinery, executed by B&M Joinery. A two-piece shaker style door with a recessed centre panel gives the space subtle depth and character, allowing the natural beauty of the veneer to remain the focal point.

Falconer Rise is a great example of how thoughtfully selected products and a considered material palette can shape the atmosphere of a home. This project focuses on creating a space that feels calm, enduring and connected to its environment.
