Bestwood’s New Cabinet Collection Presents Stunning Choices for Designers
You can tell a skilled craftsperson by the attention they give to the parts most people never see. And the same is true of design. What’s on the surface might set the tone of a room, but for the homeowner, what’s behind the door matters just as much.
Our team at Bestwood have spent years working alongside New Zealand designers and joiners, giving them the colours, finishes and quality that turn great ideas into beautiful spaces. Now, that design focus is being applied to the inside of the cabinet, with the new Melamine Cabinet Collection.
Moving beyond standard white interiors, the range gives designers scope to use coloured cabinet carcasses to complement the theme of their design.
Internal Cabinetry Colours and Hardware Pairings
The collection brings together six colours that create a tonal palette, from soft greys through to deeper charcoal tones.
Two existing Bestwood favourites, Arctic Grey and Etched Graphite, are joined by four new additions:
Silver Linea is a soft neutral with a linear design, giving it a textured appearance that adds depth to surfaces. Used across the back of an open wardrobe or shelving unit, the pattern adds interest without competing and works well with both warm and cool palettes.
Delta is a modern take on classic grey, with a subtle green undertone that softens the overall look. It works particularly well in lighter wardrobe interiors or kitchen cabinetry, where a straight grey might feel too cool alongside timber or stone.
Eclipse pairs naturally with Blum Orion Grey and black hardware, and also works well alongside Hettich Anthracite trays and Obsidian hardware. A great option for drawers within a wardrobe, where you want everything to look considered and cohesive.
Shadow takes things darker. Paired with Blum Carbon Black or Obsidian Black hardware, it creates a deeper, more continuous cabinet interior that works particularly well in contemporary wardrobes, kitchens and feature joinery.
The collection is available in either Velvet or Embossed finishes, with matching edgetape for a consistent finish.
The Bestwood Quality Designers Know and Love
Our Cabinet Collection has been deliberately kept to a focused palette of six colours, allowing us here at Bestwood to offer an accessible price point without narrowing the design possibilities.
Each colour has the same quality, grade and warranty as our wider Bestwood Melamine range, so designers can specify it with confidence.
